Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 June 2025

This Privacy Policy explains how webpaed (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with the webpaed website and the webpaed mobile applications, including StillSafe and NeoStat and any future apps such as BiliCalc and NutriCalc (together, the “Services”).

Who is responsible

The Service is operated by Webpaed, a sole proprietorship (Einzelunternehmen) registered in Switzerland. For any privacy-related question, contact us at info@webpaed.com.

Our approach to your data

The webpaed apps are designed to work on your device. Values you enter into a calculator — such as body weight, beverage details, or infant data — are processed locally on your device to produce a result. We do not require an account, and these inputs are not transmitted to or stored on our servers.

Patient-related values entered for a single calculation are held in memory only for the duration of that session and are not written to storage. Where an app lets you save your own working preferences — for example a drug concentration you use routinely — that setting is stored locally on your device and can be removed at any time by clearing the app’s data or deleting the app.

Information processed through the website

When you visit webpaed.com, our hosting provider (Infomaniak, Switzerland) may automatically record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. This is used only to operate and secure the website and is not used to identify you personally.

App diagnostics

If you enable sharing of usage and diagnostic data at the operating-system level (for example, through Apple’s App Analytics), aggregated and anonymised information may be made available to us by the platform provider in accordance with their respective privacy policies. This data does not identify you individually.

App delivery infrastructure

Our apps are built with the Expo / React Native framework. If an app uses over-the-air updates (Expo’s EAS Update service), then when you open the app it may contact Expo’s servers over an encrypted connection to check for a newer version. In that process Expo may receive your device’s operating system and a randomised, non-identifying token used only to determine whether an update has already been downloaded. Expo acts as a processor and does not receive the values you enter into the calculators. See Expo’s privacy information at expo.dev/privacy.

What we do not do

Legal bases

Where the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) apply, we process limited technical data on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functional Service.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, and may object to certain processing. Because the apps do not transmit your inputs to us, most data never leaves your device. To exercise any right regarding website data, contact info@webpaed.com.

Children

The Services are intended for adults — breastfeeding parents and healthcare professionals. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
